Cockatrice (käkətris; -ˌtrīs)These funky mythical creatures are a mix between a dragon and a chicken. Most of the illustrations of these that I have seen have them looking rather grotesque and or horrific. I kept thinking “it's got a chicken head! how can that be scary?” So I gave him that vacant chicken stare.
Just a note. I am hoping to have some good news next week. I am just trying to not count my chickens before they hatch.
