Something that just needed to be illustrated

I had some time to have some fun. This started as one of my roughs for the Animation Festival Poster. In the end it wasn’t Vermonty enough. I really liked the idea and wanted to see it completed. I also explored some different techniques with the clouds

#32 of 100 Blue Logos

This is the second of the Blue Logos being inspired by what I saw at the Winnie the Pooh exhibit at the MFA in Boston. I couldn't resist the idea of the word being lifted by the ballon.

On a side note, I am finally reading the Winnie the Pooh books. The exhibit has been inspirational on many levels.

I lived in Albuquerque New Mexico for a number of years while growing up. The International Balloon Fiesta was something that impacted me visually in so many ways. The hot air balloons keep appearing in my work.

#9 of 100 Elephants: Balloon

Yesterday got away from me. I had the whole day planed and very little happened the way I planned it. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't what was planned. As such I was not able to post #9.

This one took a different turn. I was able to have a moment of pure creativity where I did not do the obvious. This is one of the things I have learned in this challenge. As you work on being creative, you need to to the obvious in order to get to point of creativity. This is another one of my favorites.
