Irrawaddy Dolphin (irəˈwädē ˈdälfin)
Found in costal areas, estuaries, and rivers of South and SouthEastern Asia, the Irrawaddy Dolphin is similar in appearance to the beluga whale. The most distinctive difference from other dolphins is their short beak. They have been placed on the vulnerable list of endangered species. Their major threat is from bycatching.
